Hanga Ten - Contemporary Japanese Prints

Hanga Ten (in Japanese "Shop of Prints") was established in London in 1998. It is the only gallery in the UK which specialises exclusively in limited edition contemporary Japanese prints and has played an instrumental role in introducing master print artists from Japan to Europe. Renowned artists Toko Shinoda, Katsunori Hamanishi and Ryohei Tanaka are shown here together with younger emerging artists selected for their special talent. They all have in common the originality and technical experience based on the highly held discipline of Japanese printmaking. Hanga Ten exhbits in the UK six times a year. Chiko Nara, its present owner, makes frequent visits to Japan ensuring strong and long-term relationships with the artists which our international clientele can confidently rely upon.
