For Doig, printmaking is an integral part of his artistic life: his prints and his paintings often work in dialogue with one another. Dr Sloan explores this vital aspect of his work, in particular Doig's series of 19 etchings inspired by the work of his friend, the poet Derek Walcott, currently on show in the Courtauld Gallery's exhibition.

Corbin Shaw is a young artist, originally from Sheffield, whose work explores ideas of masculinity, stereotypes and paying homage to the people and places that have shaped his identity, including British pubs and football matches. He will talk to Holly Black, a journalist in the arts who is currently writing a book on printmaking, about art, fashion, digital youth culture and making new prints with Jealous Gallery.

Anita Klein talks about her long career as a printmaker, documented in her newly published book, Out of the Ordinary - 40 Years of Printmaking, a charming chronological record of the family's day-to-day life through the decades, seen from the artist-mother's perspective. "At a time when the art world appears to be full of artists attempting to shock and denigrate, Anita Klein's intimate, life affirming work comes as a welcome breath of fresh air." - Mel Gooding: Anita Klein, Painter Printmaker. There will be a book-signing afterwards.

Artist Tom Hammick has been recipient of the V&A Prize at the International Print Biennale, the prestigious Josef & Anni Albers Foundation Residency and was Glyndebourne’s Associate Artist from 2021-2022. He talks to Sophie Lindo, Associate Director at Cristea Roberts Gallery, about his work, focusing in particular on his latest monumental woodcut Night Swimmer.
