Smithson Projects
Smithson Projects showcases a high-quality selection of international contemporary artists from the UK, Europe, and the US. With over 20 years of expertise, head curator Anna's thoughtful curation, personal approach, and the close artist relationships she nurtures, underpins Smithson’s success.
Representing a range of mediums and styles, Smithson Projects’ aesthetic is contemporary and refined with a focus on process. Smithson Projects embraces the effectiveness and open-ended possibilities of medium diversity, and whilst a specialist in contemporary printmaking forms, Smithson's portfolio also includes original paintings, mixed media, collage, and sculptural works.
For the 39th edition of the London Original Print Fair, Smithson Projects returns to room W14 in the West Wing of Somerset House to present a curated selection of artworks from ten contemporary artists. Each of whom have carved out their own unique practices, approaching traditional printmaking techniques in innovative, exceptional, and often niche ways.
