I wanted to capture the delicateness of a kiss, it can be a tentative movement. The brushing of two lips against each other, with the sliver of air between them depicted as a the barrier that exists between two people. This negative space alludes to the impossibility of ever becoming one, even though there is a yearning to melt into each other.'
