Henrik Knudsen is a London based Danish artist and photographer known for his atmospheric and cinematic imagery. His work has been recognised by the Association of Photographers, American Photography, D&AD, and the Schweppes Photographic Portrait Prize (now Taylor Wessing Prize). Often working in series that explore memory and collective history, he aims to reshape the atmosphere and light of the photographic image into tactile prints using ink, texture and paper tone. Each print is hand-made by the artist using the polymer photogravure process.
