Down the Inkwell #1 is the first edition in TIN MAN ART’s collaborative series with Steadman, exploring the artist's anarchic take on Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, which he illustrated in the 1960s-70s. Presented on cotton rag archival paper, it features a replication of a unique backing paper containing notes, sketches, ink blots and splashes. Archival inks have been applied to the giclée base, with gold leaf on the crown and silver rooks.
