The present artworks are each signed, inscribed and numbered on the lower right, the publisher's drystamp on the lower left.
Andy Warhol and Joseph Beuys first met in May 1979 in Düsseldorf, during Warhol’s visit to the Rhineland. A few months later, Beuys traveled to New York for a counter visit. Warhol took countless Polaroid portraits of Beuys, and over time a special bond developed between the two very different artistic personalities.
