An early print by Bartolozzi which he engraved after now-lost Pietro Longhi’s painting, during his stay in Venice in 1750s. From a series of eight plates depicting the daily life in Venice. This is a unique series among Italian prints of the 18th century which focuses on fashion and interiors of contemporary Venetians, almost 30 years before a famous series ‘Le Monument du Costume’ engraved in France.
