A rare work by the artist. Brayer is internationally known for her large-scale poured washi paper works and prints. The moon and sun are recurring themes in her images. Here she uses woodblock to emphasise the the rythm and texture of the wood grains, printed with water-based pigments to create light and movement. Brayer's works are included in the permanent collections of the British Museum, Smithsonian Washington DC, and The Cincinnati Museum among others.
