Redfern Gallery has been promoting and dealing in British and international prints for over 100 years. Landmark shows include the first exhibition of British colour linocuts from the Grosvenor School of Modern Art in 1929, the first ever showing of Rouault’s aquatints for Miserere and Guerre in 1948, the first London showing of Picasso’s complete Suite Vollard in 1967/68 and an exhibition of Monumental Prints by Antoní Tàpies in 1992 which subsequently toured to 8 museums in the UK and Ireland. Recent Redfern print publications include the complete prints of Norman Stevens RA (2023) and the complete prints of Patrick Procktor RA (2025).
