Under the direction of its founder, Francis van der Riet, Atelier le Grand Village has become an internationally recognized hub for printmaking, celebrated for its collaborations with leading contemporary artists and its dedication to traditional printmaking techniques.
The studio specialises in stone lithography. Its’ aim is to revive the art of stone lithography using faithfully restored old lithography presses. It focuses on creating original stone lithographs printed by hand in limited editions. Other print methods are also practised such as monoprint, dry point, lino and photo plate lithography.
