- Framed in black wood frame.
- Paul Dewis works with woodblock and collagraphy techniques to create layered compositions. The first step in his process is photography, giving a filmic quality to his abstract prints. Dewis documents and deconstructs the urban environment, reworking it into mesh-like surfaces with multiple levels of texture. Photographs are processed in the darkroom with spontaneous chemical marks, which are then translated by Dewis into the more graphic language of the woodcut.
