“The boundaries which divide life from death are at best shadowy and vague.”
- Edgar Allan Poe
This spooky Spotlight brings together a haunting collection of Halloween-inspired prints from our 2026 Exhibitors, demonstrating how printmakers can channel the macabre, the mystical and the monstrous. From intricate Gothic architecture to folklore monsters and ghostly apparitions, these works honour the dark allure of the Season of the Witch...
Tip for collectors: When illuminating dark artwork, the goal is to reveal hidden details in the shadows without washing out the deep blacks or causing a distracting glare. Avoid ambient ceiling lights. Instead, angle a narrow-beam LED spotlight at roughly 30 degrees relative to the wall.
