Additional information: This original etching and aquatint is hand signed in blue pencil by the artist with his initials "MM", at the lower right margin.
It is also hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 125, at the lower left margin.
There were also 20 signed and inscribed artist’s proofs and an edition of 50 signed and numbered with Roman numerals.
It was printed by ZWR, London and published by Labyrinth, Florence in 1979.
The work bears the ink stamp of the publisher verso and is signed in pencil by the artist’s wife.
This is the second composition of four for the portfolio “Marino from Goethe”.
The paper bears the Arches watermark in the lower right corner and the blindstamp of the publisher in the lower left corner.
