Paper size: 49.5 x 65.8 cm. / 19.5 x 25.9 in.
Additional Information: This original lithograph is hand signed in pencil by the artist "Picasso" in the lower right image.
It is hand numbered in pencil from the edition of 25, in the lower left image.
The lithograph was printed by Mourlot in 1948 in a limited edition of 25 impressions. There were also six artist’s proofs and six printer’s proofs.
It was created by Picasso on 29th June 1946.
The paper bears the Arches watermark in the centre of the lower margin.
Note: For this subject Picasso also experimented with printing the composition in red and in black. The experiment in this ’yellow-gold’ colour was limited to only 25 impressions.
