Hallett Award Winner Announced!

Congratulations to Harriet Cooper from The Burton at Bideford, winner of the Hallett Independent Acquisitions Award 2026!

 

Harriet selected two remarkable Paula Rego prints from RAW Editions - Mary, Mary Quite Contrary I and Little Miss Muffett I (1989). Both etchings with aquatint were printed by Culford Press, London, and co-published by the artist and Marlborough Graphics in editions of 50. Rego's unforgettable reimagining of nursery rhymes continues to resonate across generations, and we're delighted these works will now become part of The Burton's wider community and learning programme.
